JUST PHOTOS!

The following are PHOTOS or Clipart that we will add, remove and just keep changing, so that you can get a feel of our school, the studios, the instructors and more.  Come back often.

This is our School Patch!  It represents the Bakersfield area, as we see it, and integrates the various belt colors of the ATA into the overall scheme.

Each Belt identifies the current rank of a student, and signifies the stage of their Taekwondo journey.

Studio Photos:

Line Up

Before and after each training session, the students line up based on rank, from the highest ranking student to the newest member of the school.

Learning to punch

Our instructors teach you many things including how to properly punch and generate power without having to use your entire body to create momentum.

Balance Act

You will learn how to balance yourself on either leg.

Sparring!

We teach how to punch, kick, and block, along with many variations. We do not emphasize making contact, as anyone can punch or kick another person. We DO teach proper control and make sure the training environment is fun and safe for everyone.

Discipline!

Discipline also means to put things away properly. We teach our students that respect is for fellow students, instructors, equipment and sparring gear AND having love and respect for the parents (who are typically the ones making the investment every month).

Young Black Belts

Come watch our young black belts teach others while having a great time learning new techniques, weapons, self-defense and more.

The team grows!

We opened in February 2001 with two Black Belt instructors. We now have a full team of Black Belts and many more up and coming leaders. Come and watch!

Tiny Tigers

Ages 3-6, these young students are learning what it takes to become a Black Belt in Taekwondo.

Mr. Kanneg

You'll talk to me and I'll help you decide the best program for you and your children. We have a number of choices and programs that let you get started without costing you a lot of money. Or, come try a class for free.

Mrs. Kanneg

She started in Taekwondo at the age of 54. She just turned 72 and just completed her 5th degree Black Belt. She's an inspiration to everyone and your kids and grandkids will just love her.

Teaching the Young!

Mrs. Kanneg instructing one of our Tiny Tigers.

Mr. Kidd and Mrs. Kanneg

We finally got them to settle down for a couple minutes so we could take their picture. They are partners in the school and work together to teach and train new students, growing students and Black Belt leaders.

ProShop

Yes, we carry lots of Taekwondo products including books and video tapes on each of the nine colored ranks. These can help you improve and solidify your growing skills.

Taekwondo Sign

We're located at the Corner of Ming Ave and New Stine in the Colonial Shopping Center. Look for our sign and come on in to check us out.

Taekwondo at Night!

The sign looks great at night. Come on in and check us out, we look even better on the inside.

Line 'em UP!

Testing is a fun part of Taekwondo. You get to show everyone what you've learned. At the beginning, everyone is nervous about their performance, but take it from us, YOU'll do great!
