Taekwondo Belt Colors and MeaningsATA Belt Colors

In Songahm Taekwondo (ATA style), there are NINE Color belts with their own meaning, form, number of moves and theme.  Each belt identifies the training level (rank) of the student.  In addition, there are NINE levels of Black Belt in ATA Taekwondo, with the highest level being 9th Degree Black Belt, or Grand Master.

Our School Patch represents ALL Nine color belts and the Black Belt.  It also is a representation of the Bakersfield area with the Mountains, California Aquaduct, Grapes, Oil Derricks and Cotton all included.
